Last month, I graduated from being a publisher at Simon & Schuster. Four years and a degree in possibility. It was one of the greatest honors of my life to work alongside some of the greatest minds in the literary world. I acquired and edited dozens of books in several genres: narrative nonfiction, how-to, self-help, political science, environment, and spirituality.

My biggest takeaway is this: You need a platform if you’re going to succeed as a writer.

What does a POP Session look like?

We start out in my Teepee.
Yes, a Teepee. We do the morning meditation, sound bowls and touch-ins in this gorgeous space nestled next to a vineyard and a forest.  If you are live streaming in you’re right there with us, from the comfort of your home (and we can see and talk to you:))

We work on one of several subjects each weekend.
Setting your big POP goal you’ll launch (we’ve had perfume launches, books, real estate sites, digital products and more)

• We clarify and workshop your brand.
• We write your brand materials…
• We build a sexy liberating budget (yes, I just put those words together :))
• We create marketing and publicity materials
• We do media training (have you ever been interviewed by my alter ego, the Big Z?)
• We create content calendars and killer converting content
• We write books, create products and do whatever our hearts and souls tell us to.

And then, we succeed.

It’s seven months this time…once a month we have a weekend playdate: Think 2-days of yum with killer people like you laughing, learning, completing, and growing. The second day of each retreat is in action: get it done, no excuses work. Discipline and play. Yep, we actually work together like in school, except it’s way cooler.
